Public Relations for Iran Needed

Iran needs some public relations teams to fix up its problematic standing in the International Community. But what can Iran do now to promote goodwill after threatening to; Blow Israel off the Map and nearly starting World War III? Not to mention telling the UN to go to hell over Iran’s nuclear weapons uranium enrichment.

What could Iran possibly do now to curb suspicion, avert World War and come back into the fray of the International Community? What can Iran do to foster global goodwill and increase their public-relations endeavors? One thing they could do is to try a tactic of stating that the nuclear enrichment is only for the generation of power and not to make atomic bombs. They could certainly try this public-relations ploy, but after publicly stating that they wanted to nuke their neighbor, that might not work.

If Iran really wishes to move forward in the world then their president will need to re-sign and a more moderate thinking gentle man will need to take his place and someone who is used to doing business with other leaders of the world with integrity. Iran has put themselves into a terrible position for both negotiation and any sort of return to proper public-relations with world leaders.

Such a problematic state, which sponsors international terrorism will need regime change. A good PR move would be to hold new elections and allow the Iranian people to elect a moderate, which will not thrust their country into war. Please consider this in 2006.

Israel Vs Iran – Does it Help the Palestinians?

Iran, as well as many other Nations, have brought to question Israel’s right to exist. Israel became a recognized state after WWII in the late 1940′s. After the acknowledgment of the Holocaust there was a large influx of Jews who moved to Israel. Although, pre-WWII there was already a large settlement of Jews from Eastern Europe who had moved to Israel during the late 1800′s. Eastern Europe was riddled with violent crimes against Jews during what is known as the Pogroms.

Fievel, the mouse from Russia, is a great illustration of what was occurring at that time. Many fled to the United States, as well as many others who moved to Israel. At this time, Israel was known as Palestine, and was basically owned by Great Britain. It was an English Colony. Jews fled Europe to the Americas, as well as to Israel, but during the Holocaust, both the English in Israel, and the United States closed their doors on immigration. Because of these nations isolationism more Jews died during the Holocaust than would have otherwise. Many argue that because of this realization guilt guided the creation of the Jewish State. Jews specifically wanted Israel because of its biblical significance, although they were offered land in Africa at the time.

Israel known as a Jewish State, is also a sacred area to Christianity and Islam. There is no question that the internal struggle within Israel has sparked heated debate in the Press. The conflict between the Israelis and Palestinians has been going on long before Israel became a State. But, much of the issues occurring in the press today was brought to light after Israel was given State recognition.

Before Israel became an independent nation, Great Britain promised both the Jews and the Palestinians independence and ownership of what is now known as Israel. Both peoples were given documentation of this promise. Obviously, two peoples cannot equally own a single nation and call it their own. But after World War II, the United Nations voted for the recognition of a Jewish State to be called Israel.

Only after Israel became independent did other Jews, who were being pushed out of other Middle Eastern Nations, moved into Europe. Jews were kicked out of Egypt, Iran, Yemen, Iraq, and many others. If Jews did not leave these countries they were imprisoned and killed. It was imperative at the time that Jews have a place to go.

The President of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad not only ignores the existence of Israel, but also has said that he does not believe the Holocaust occurred. He is known as a Holocaust denier. Ahamdinejad is believed to have fraudulently won the Presidency of Iran. Ahamdinejad does not seem to accurately represent the Iranian people. In fact, it seems he to has little care for the safety of his people. It would appear that he is egging for a fight from the international community.

At this point, the international community has moved away from denying Israel’s right to exist, and has moved towards how to come to an amicable agreement between Israel and the Palestinians. The question should not be whether their should be a Jewish State, but why isn’t there are Palestinian one as well. Iran’s claims to deny Israel does not help the plight of the Palestinians, it makes it worse and create more violence that is not necessary. These groups need to move away from violence not towards it.

But the creation of a Palestinian state is complicated, the most obvious reason being that the Palestinians want Israel to be the Palestinian State, to be named Palestine. The biggest debate is surrounding Jerusalem, the Capital of Israel, and also the location of the Dom of the Rock, a very sacred religious temple of Islam. Jerusalem is truly an multi-religious city because of it’s historical significance to so many faiths. It is arguably the largest obstacle in the dialogue of peace between the Israelis and Palestinians. But, it could be argued, even giving Jerusalem would not be enough to appease the extremist in Palestine.

Hamas does not seem to want peace, an organization that now is the ruling party within the Palestinian government, has very close relations with Iran. It has been known to collect weapons of war, as well as money from Iran to funds its attacks on Israel.

Lets stop here, where many people become angry and frustrated. Israel does get weapons and financial aid from the United States, but Israel also provides the United States with weapons technology and aids in the development of American soldiers. But, no, the United States does not provide nearly as much aid to the Palestinians as it does to the Israelis.

The arguement that can be made here is that violence on all sides does not help either groups case. It creates a large divide between organizations outside of the struggle, but neither help the plight of either group.

It could be argued that Iran does not care about the plight of his people, not that of the Palestinian people because he perpetuates the animosity between them. His people, as well as the Palestinians, deserve a better representative to fight their fight. Ahmadinejad only looks out for himself, not his people. He only perpetuates further animosity between his nation and the international community, as well as the struggle between Israel and the Palestinians.

Israel Preparing Itself for Strike From Iran

Israel is preparing itself for war with Iran, as the Iranian President has promised the Iranian people that he will blow Israel off the map. Meanwhile Iran is supporting international terrorist organizations such as: Hamas and Hezbollah.

Currently Israel has quite a few high-tech weapons at their disposal to defend their civilization and they have every right to do so. However, their current high-energy laser portable systems and they are antimissile defense systems are not quite capable of a larger swarm of incoming ICBM missiles. Therefore Israel is retrofitting its ballistic missile defense programs and upgrading its arrow interceptor systems. Currently Israel also has U.S. built Patriot missile intercept systems.

Unfortunately Iran has bought some advanced ICBM missile systems from China and quite a few of them that will be able to go at very high speeds and very difficult to shoot down. These missiles could be sent its swarms of hundreds or thousands at a time in there would be no way that Israel could keep themselves from being blown off the map like the uranium President has promised. Putting Israel in the corner like this leaves Israel with only two possible responses; one, to beef up its defense system to an unbelievable amount or two, preemptively strike Iran and take out its entire missile arsenal. And it appears the world is moving closer to war. Considers the 2006.
