ABSTRACT Cochlear re-implantation is one of the problematic concepts in the cochlear implant. According to our 9 years experience of CI and performing about 200 implants, the rate of failure is trivial, but the cause of failures, management, surgical difficulty, and decreasing the rate of failure is the main point of our discussion. we had six re-implanted CI The causes of the failure are one case, Extrusion the electrode from cochlea spontaneously, two cases internal part didn't work and another three cases had flap necrosis with extrusion. |
